Childhood duo Esther Holt and Maddy Kelly of Whistle & Trick, are set to enchant families at the 31st annual Reclink Community Cup with their lively performances. Maddy, being the gifted daughter of renowned musician Paul Kelly, joins Esther to not only entertain but also take part in the match itself.
Embodying Maddy’s father's musical prowess while carving out their own unique sound, Whistle & Trick brings a fresh perspective to the stage, captivating listeners with their children’s take on a harmonious blend of folk and indie rock. The Reclink Community Cup has become a key date on the calendar for Melbourne music and sports lovers alike with Triple R and PBS returning again this year as presenting partners. Dave Houchin from Tripe R Station Manager Says, “For the uninitiated, the Community Cup is a now iconic fundraising Aussie Rules football match featuring some of your favourite local community radio presenters playing for the Triple R/PBS Megahertz against local musicians known as the Rockdogs.”
