The festival starts Saturday 1 June with Cruise the Night.  This social cruise night at Queensland Raceway includes food trucks, trade stalls and family-friendly activities.

Then from Thursday 6 to Sunday 9 June the Gulf Western Oil Winternationals are back.  See flame-throwing Top Fuel Funny Cars plus over 400 vehicles competing in the largest drag racing event in the Southern Hemisphere.

On Saturday 22 June Ipswich’s social event of the year and the largest attended regional race day in the TAB Queensland Racing Carnival will be held at Ipswich Turf Club.   The TAB Ipswich Cup features entertainment, horses, fashions and in-field festive fun with around 13,000 people expected to witness Ipswich’s biggest horse racing event.

Bring the family to the trots on Sunday 23 June with the Western Star Feature Race Day at Marburg Pacing Association.  This is one of the last harness racing courses left in Queensland.

Friday 28 to Sunday 30 June sees the Queensland Kart Championships return to Ipswich.  You can head along to see the best kart racing action with drivers from all over Australia competing to be crowned as state champions.

Rounding out the month-long festival is 2 Days of Thunder.  A massive weekend for Super Series racing, with motor sport legends, trade stands and plenty of entertainment on and off the Queensland Raceway track held over 29-30 June.
