COLES PROVIDES CUSTOMERS WITH INSTANT SAVINGS AT THE CHECKOUT
Flybuys instant $10 off launches nationally, to reward Aussies with money off their in-store Coles shop
Coles is making it easier for customers to save at the checkout, giving Flybuys members across the country the opportunity to redeem 2,000 points for an instant $10 off their in-store shop[1] at Coles supermarkets and selected Liquorland and First Choice Liquor Market stores.[2]
After a successful trial, today Flybuys members nationally with at least 2,000 points in their account, who scan their Flybuys will be able to instantly redeem $10 off when they shop in-store and spend a minimum $10 in one transaction.[3] Members can redeem 2,000 points for the instant $10 off in-store at Coles and at selected Liquorland and First Choice Liquor Market stores with a maximum of one redemption per store per day.
Coles Chief Customer Officer, Amanda McVay said Flybuys instant $10 off is another way Coles is providing value at the checkout to help customers’ budgets go further.
“Millions of Flybuys members currently hold balances of more than 2,000 points and we’re making it easier than ever for them to redeem these points for money off their in-store shop.”
To access the instant $10 off, members with a points balance of 2,000 or more need to spend $10 in one transaction in-store at Coles supermarkets or selected Liquorland or First Choice Liquor Market stores, scan their Flybuys then choose if they want to redeem 2,000 points for money off their shop. Customers also have the option to turn the prompt for the offer off via their Flybuys account settings, giving them more choice about how they want to use their points.
Coles Liquor General Manager of Customer Loyalty, Mia Lloyd said Flybuys instant $10 off shows Coles’ commitment to being a one-stop shop for food and drink.
“Every extra dollar helps and with Flybuys instant $10 off available throughout most of our Liquorland and First Choice Liquor Market stores it’s much easier for customers to save on their favourite drinks. Cheers to that!”
Helping customers get $10 off their in-store shop faster
As using Flybuys points for money off an in-store shop becomes easier, customers are encouraged to never miss a bonus point by taking advantage of personalised Flybuys bonus point offers they receive. By linking their Flybuys account to the Coles app, members can more easily activate their Coles bonus point offers whilst using their Coles app to find products instore or check which of their 'bought before' items are currently on special. Flybuys members who activate their Coles offers weekly, collect points four times faster than members who don’t.[4]
To celebrate the launch of the instant $10 off an in-store shop and help customers get to 2,000 points faster, Coles is offering a number of bonus points offers in store and online, with no activation required.
Until Tuesday 11 June, customers can earn 10 x points on all mince from the meat department5 and until Tuesday 25 June they can earn 10 x points on a range of grocery items changing each week from popular brands like Nestle, Allen’s, Milo, Moccona, and John West. 6
And just in time for the sneezing season Coles is offering 5 x points on over 260 immunity and cold and flu products from brands including Panadol, Nurofen, Betadine, Vicks, Difflam, Swisse and Cenovis until Tuesday 23 July.7
