Doctors forced to chase their own pay as NSW Health delays critical emergency allowance

Emergency doctors at Westmead Hospital are being forced to chase large portions of their own pay for months at a time, in what the Doctors Union has labelled a “byzantine, dysfunctional and utterly disrespectful” system. Staff specialists working in emergency departments are entitled to an allowance that forms an integral part of their salary, equivalent to approximately a quarter of their take-home pay. NSW EV strategy closing charging gaps, supporting EV Discount uptake

Australia’s peak body for novated leasing said the NSW Government’s new Electric Vehicle Strategy complements the federal government’s Electric Car Discount in making cleaner, cheaper-to-run cars a reality for more Australians.
