The final day of hearings for Australia’s first People’s Commission into the Housing Crisis, convened by Everybody’s Home, will be held today.

The online hearings will address:

  • Housing and First Nations communities

  • Impacts on regional and remote communities

  • Climate safe housing

  • Recommendations for government action

WHO: 

  • Commissioner Doug Cameron (former Labor Senator for NSW) 

  • Commissioner Prof Nicole Gurran (University of Sydney housing expert)

  • Members of the public sharing their stories of housing stress and instability

  • Economists and housing experts

  • Everybody’s Home spokesperson Maiy Azize
