SYDNEY--BUSINESS WIRE--

ShipStation, the leading cloud-based shipping solution from Auctane, today announced the launch of a suite of innovative features designed to help online businesses in Australia streamline their shipping processes, enhance customer experiences, and achieve new levels of efficiency.

“For over a decade, ShipStation has helped tens of thousands of businesses conquer the complexities of order fulfilment, turning shipping from a chore into a strategic tool that drives brand loyalty and growth,” said Alexander Stevenson, Chief Product Officer at Auctane.

“As demands evolve, we’re committed to continually advancing our solutions,” Stevenson continued. “We’re constantly impressed by the passion and valuable feedback from our incredible customer community, which directly influences our product development. With these new features, we aim to drive even more efficiency across our customers’ order management and delivery processes, streamline their backend operations, and unlock additional time and resources for them to focus on innovation in other areas of their businesses.”

ShipStation’s latest features include:

  • Inventory Sync: Ensure accurate inventory levels across sales channels, eliminating unexpected backorders and accelerating order fulfilment.
  • Deliver-by Date: See, organise, and prioritise shipments for on-time arrivals, exceeding customer expectations and meeting marketplace requirements like Shopify’s “Shop Promise” and Amazon Prime.
  • Harmonization Code Import: Automate the import of Harmonization Codes from Shopify, eBay, and BigCommerce, simplifying cross-border shipping compliance and reducing customs delays.
  • Checkout Rates: Control the exact shipping services and rates displayed at checkout for platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce, and Wix. This empowers end customers with a clear and transparent view of their delivery options, fostering trust and potentially leading to higher conversion rates.
  • Custom Labels: Design bespoke labels for in-house delivery fleets, PUDO (pick-up/drop-off) and Click & Collect. These labels, featuring customisable QR codes and barcodes, ensure a seamless workflow, mirroring the ease of carrier-delivered packages.
  • GlobalPost Carrier Integration: Leverage a new carrier for reliable, affordable international shipping, tracking, and customs clearance.
  • Add-On Marketplace: Tailor ShipStation by selecting only the features needed. This marketplace expands functionalities through customisable integrations with 3PL providers, Cubiscan for dimensional weighing, dropshipping solutions, and more.

High Volume Plan

In addition to these new features, ShipStation released its High Volume Plan for retailers in Australia and New Zealand. This plan is tailored to meet the demands of enterprise parcel delivery, with new levels of advanced automation and operational efficiency. High Volume Plan users can also access ShipStation features such as:

  • Shipping Strategies: Automated rate shopping that optimises shipping costs by comparing preferred shipping services and applying the lowest rate. This feature simplifies decision-making, ensuring cost-effective and efficient shipping methods for every order.
  • Auto-Split: Automated order splitting to save time and eliminate manual entry errors, streamlining warehouse operations. This feature reduces processing times and improves overall efficiency by automating the splitting of orders into multiple shipments.
