AUSSIE ICON HOSTS A NIGHT OF ELEGANCE AND EMPOWERMENT

STEPS Group Australia 2 mins read

The eagerly awaited 2024 STEPS Grand Winter Ball presented by Ken Mills Toyota is set to illuminate the Sunshine Coast on July 27, 2024. Hosted at the Sunshine Coast Events Centre, this prestigious black-tie gala promises an evening of glamour, entertainment, and community spirit.

This year, STEPS is excited to announce that award winning journalist and television presenter, Melissa Doyle, will be hosting the event. Melissa is renowned for her extensive media career and her support for numerous charitable causes both nationally and internationally. Her presence adds a touch of distinction to an already stellar evening.

Every year the STEPS Grand Winter Ball highlights the generosity of the local community, whose support has been instrumental in developing the groundbreaking program at STEPS Pathways College.

STEPS managing director Carmel Crouch said the College aims to revolutionise the quality of life for Australians with a disability and autism and prove that with the right training and support people with a disability and autism can be more, do more, and achieve more in life.

“These young people are currently limited by the services and funding available to them.  We are breaking the mould and helping people with disabilities and autism achieve their full potential, giving them a future full of hopes, dreams and aspirations, just as all young people deserve,” Ms Crouch said.

The STEPS Grand Winter Ball is a celebration of the power of community action and the difference we can all make to provide a brighter future for Australians living with a disability and autism.
