Leadership Refinement at Lánluas

Lánluas Consulting 2 mins read

Lánluas Founder and Chief Executive John Speed is transitioning to a newly created Executive Director - Growth and Innovation role, with current Chief Operating Officer Richard McManus taking on the Chief Executive Officer role.

The leadership refinement is part of a strategic move to drive further innovation and global growth by splitting the operational and sales responsibilities across two executive leadership roles rather than one.

Lánluas’s global footprint has grown to include the UK and New Zealand as well as Australia in the past three years. The number of clients partnering with Lánluas has increased seven-fold, with an average year-on-year growth of 81 per cent. Consulting, client development, and operations teams have grown significantly over the last three years, reflecting this rapid growth.

John Speed comments: “After 10 years at the helm of Lánluas, I am very excited to share leadership duties and focus my energy on growing our client base, deepening existing and developing new client partnerships, and identifying new opportunities that will further enable us to help clients tackle challenges and improve ROI on their TechnologyOne systems. Our curiosity as a business to identify the many ways we can help improve our clients’ processes and technology will continue to drive us.

“Richard has made a significant impact in his role as Chief Operating Officer since joining the business in February, and he will lead us to great success as Chief Executive Officer. His strong leadership and in-depth understanding of the sector as a previous client in the education and local government sectors have helped drive our internal innovation and improved working practices this year.

“Richard and I will continue to work very closely together to ensure we remain the number one consulting company enhancing and expanding the use of TechnologyOne in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK,” John adds.

“I am very proud to take on the CEO role here at Lánluas,” says Richard McManus, “and look forward to continuing to build out our consulting capability and driving operational excellence. Our clients are at the heart of everything we do, and my focus will be on innovating internally to continue to exceed client expectations in Australia, New Zealand and the UK.”
