
Today, Friday 12 July, Committee for Melbourne and Melbourne Chamber of Commerce will announce their intention to unite for a better future for Melbourne and a stronger Victorian state. Sitting under the umbrella of the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Melbourne Chamber of Commerce will merge with and be renamed Committee for Melbourne, becoming the City’s leading advocacy body.

What: Committee for Melbourne and the Victorian Chamber of Commerce will hold a press conference at 11 am. Chair of Committee for Melbourne, Scott Tanner and Chief Executive of the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will discuss this decision which will see a louder voice, more influence and unification on the issues that matter for Greater Melbourne and Victoria.
