Western Sydney, Australia
– In a powerful display of unity and compassion, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia has launched a blood donation drive during its Jalsa Salana, the country’s largest and longest-running annual Muslim convention. This drive, held in Western Sydney over the weekend, is set to save hundreds of lives.

The blood donation initiative is dedicated to the memory of the late Faraz Tahir, a cherished member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia who heroically gave his life to save others during the Bondi tragedy. This would have marked Faraz's first attendance at the annual conference, and his family is present at the event to honour his legacy.

Expressing pride and commitment to the cause, the National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia, Imam Inam-ul-Haq Kauser said, "Faraz gave his blood to save the lives of fellow Australians, fellow brothers and sisters in humanity, and we are also trying to do the same by giving our blood, though at a much smaller magnitude than him."

Driven by the spirit of brotherhood and service, this blood donation drive exemplifies the community's values and dedication to making a tangible difference in the lives of Australians. Held at Australia’s largest and longest-running Muslim convention, this initiative underscores the powerful impact of collective action and the enduring legacy of Brother Faraz Tahir.
