Date:  Friday 12th July @ 2pm

Australia’s oldest annual Muslim conference gathering to discuss world peace initiatives and saving the world from destruction.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia will host its 36th Annual Convention on Friday 12th to Sunday 14th July at the Grand Pavilion, Rosehill Gardens - Grand Ave, Rosehill NSW 2142. This year’s event is expected to draw over 3,000 people for presentations and discussions about international peace, leadership and unity.

Among the convention's central themes is a focus on the work required to avoid the catastrophic effects of a third world war. As a dark shadow of war hangs over a large part of the globe, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has warned for a decade on the need for absolute justice in international and national affairs to avoid the inevitability of a World War 3.

His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the Khalifa (World Head) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, has led the effort to warn world leaders for nearly two decades to protect justice for all people, saying:

"For many years, I have warned the major powers of the world that they must heed the lessons from history, particularly in relation to the two catastrophic and devastating world wars that took place in the 20th Century."

The event also provides a unique opportunity for people to attend, participate, ask questions, and understand Islam. Along with hundreds of Australians from different walks of life, the convention attracts government officials, lawmakers, diplomats, faith leaders and media outlets.

Family First to Fight for Repeal of Dangerous ‘Equality’ Bill

Family First has pledged to repeal the dangerous Equality Legislation Amendment (LGBTIQA+) Bill if its candidates are elected to the NSW Parliament in 2027. The bill put forward by Alex Greenwich, which passed the lower house of the NSW Parliament today, threatens the safety and rights of women, girls, and children by removing key safeguards in the name of so-called equality. Lyle Shelton, National Director of Family First, expressed deep concern about the implications of the bill, particularly its allowance biological men to identify as women by changing their sex on their birth certificates at a whim. “This exposes girls…

Family First Party will Draft New Law to Protect Faith-Based Organisations from Hostile Government Takeovers

The Family First Party has announced that if elected to the cross bench it will immediately pursue new legislation designed to prevent hostile public takeovers of faith-based organisations, following recent national concerns over such actions – particularly the Labor Green Government takeover of Calvary Hospital. The draft law will aim to protect the autonomy and values of religious institutions that serve communities through education, healthcare, and charity. The acquisition of Calvary raised alarm among religious and civil society groups, who fear that similar actions could undermine the missions of faith-based organisations, forcing them to compromise on their core beliefs and…
