Australia’s oldest annual Muslim conference gathering to discuss world peace initiatives and saving the world from destruction.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia will host its 36th Annual Convention on Friday 12th to Sunday 14th July at the Grand Pavilion, Rosehill Gardens - Grand Ave, Rosehill NSW 2142. This year’s event is expected to draw over 3,000 people for presentations and discussions about international peace, leadership and unity.

Among the convention's central themes is a focus on the work required to avoid the catastrophic effects of a third world war. As a dark shadow of war hangs over a large part of the globe, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has warned for a decade on the need for absolute justice in international and national affairs to avoid the inevitability of a World War 3.

His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the Khalifa (World Head) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, has led the effort to warn world leaders for nearly two decades to protect justice for all people, saying:

"For many years, I have warned the major powers of the world that they must heed the lessons from history, particularly in relation to the two catastrophic and devastating world wars that took place in the 20th Century."

The event also provides a unique opportunity for people to attend, participate, ask questions, and understand Islam. Along with hundreds of Australians from different walks of life, the convention attracts government officials, lawmakers, diplomats, faith leaders and media outlets.

Coalition’s U-turn on EV discount slams brakes on working Australians’ hopes for car savings

The Opposition’s U-turn on the electric car discount that’s making EVs more affordable to buy is a major blow to everyday, hard-working Australians during a cost-of-living crisis, according to the Electric Vehicle Council. On Monday, the Opposition Leader indicated there were no proposals to change the Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) exemption, which creates an ‘electric car discount’ by making it cheaper for workers to buy an electric car through salary sacrificing or as a company car for personal use.On Wednesday, the Coalition reversed its decision, delivering a cost-of-living blow to average working Australians in the outer suburbs, such as Werribee in…
