Australia is experiencing an eruption of antisemitism and extremism that threatens our social cohesion.
At a time when many Australian Jews are feeling intimidated in their workplaces, universities and communities, we are seeing fellow Australians share and repeat the rhetoric of terrorist organizations which seek the annihilation of Jews between the Mediterranean River and the Jordan Sea, and across the globe.
Hate speech must not be permitted to creep into the mainstream. Action must be taken by all concerned Australians.
A significant complaint will be lodged imminently to the Australian Human Rights Commission under section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act.
