Victory Metals Limited (ASX:VTM) Appoints Renowned Geoscientist Professor Ken Collerson as Technical Director

Perth, Australia – 30 July 2024 | Victory Metals Limited (ASX: VTM) ("Victory" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Ken Collerson as Technical Director. Professor Collerson brings extensive expertise in geochemistry and critical metals, significantly contributing to the discovery of the North Stanmore Heavy Rare Earth Element (HREE) dominant Project during his consultancy with Victory over the past two years.

  • Appointment of Professor Ken Collerson: With a distinguished career as Emeritus Professor of Earth Sciences at the University of Queensland, Professor Collerson is an internationally recognised geologist and geochemist. His technical expertise focuses on the discovery of new ethically sourced supplies of critical minerals, particularly rare earth elements.

  • Significant Contributions: Professor Collerson has a history of notable contributions to the field, including the discovery of the peralkaline igneous suite hosting the Strange Lake heavy REE-rich deposit and key geochemical consultancy roles for major projects like Mount Weld and Mrima Hill.
