  • Rexel Holdings Australia Pty Ltd named distributor for APC by Schneider Electric
  • New agreement will extend product availability and ensure best-in-class customer service across the Pacific region
  • The partnership will compliment APC’s existing distributors, leveraging shipping infrastructure to efficiently distribute products

Schneider Electric, a leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, has partnered with Rexel Holdings Australia Pty Ltd (Rexel) in a new distribution agreement designed to service resellers across Australia.

Rexel was selected due its extensive experience in electrical distribution and commitment to its high standards of customer service. The partnership will tap into the business’ extensive partner ecosystem and existing infrastructure to efficiently distribute APC by Schneider Electric’s (APC) products throughout the region.

APC, a flagship brand of Schneider Electric, provides clean battery backup power, surge protection, and IT/OT physical infrastructure, ensuring data is available, inside and outside the traditional IT environment.

“Through this distribution arrangement, we want to ensure partners have access to the depth and breadth of APC offerings by Schneider Electric. We are thrilled to welcome Rexel as one of our distributors, as its commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction aligns well with Schneider Electric’s values,” said Raj Singh, Sales Leader – Commercial & Industrial at Schneider Electric.

As a part of the agreement, Rexel will have access to a range of APC IT/OT solutions to support any type of IT/OT application, including uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), power distribution units (PDUs), cooling solutions, data racking, and software.

“Rexel will complement our existing distributors that will continue to play a crucial role in APC’s network, leveraging its distribution infrastructure to ensure customers continue to receive best-in-class service,” added Singh.

In our increasingly connected world, it is now more important than ever to protect information – a business’ most valuable asset – as well as the hardware connected to it. Schneider Electric and Rexel share a vision to grow infrastructure and development for businesses across the Pacific to support this digital revolution.

Rexel’s General Manager - Technical Sales Mathew Edgar said: “APC is the world's most respected and trusted power protection and data racking solution vendor. This partnership is an exciting opportunity for resellers to offer the best solutions to their end users for server, storage, and UPS systems. With significant growth happening across the sector, this is an exciting time for the partnership of our organisations.”

“Our purpose is to help our resellers grow, and we are very excited to help them do so with APC. Rexel has a history of building market share and close relationships with our vendors and resellers. We look forward to doing the same with APC,” continued Edgar
