The North Shore’s biggest street party will explode with new features and events including music, food, gaming and kids activities.
Starting with the street parade from 10.30am on Saturday 7 September, hundreds of members from community groups will dance and sing their way through the Chatswood CBD down Anderson Street and Victoria Avenue past The Concourse, finishing near Chatswood Chase.
The parade signals the start of one huge day of activities, demonstrations, food and fun.
Willoughby City Council Mayor Tanya Taylor said this year’s program has been refreshed to be more exciting and diverse.
“The food trucks, retail stalls, musical performances, family -friendly rides, furry animals and reptile zoo, circus activities, and video gaming mean there’s something for all interests and age groups,” Mayor Taylor said.
The highlights include:
- Circus activities and a jumping castle from 10am at The Concourse Upper Podium
- Furry animals and reptile zoo from 10:00am at Spring Place
- Musical performances from 11:30am on three stages across Chatswood CBD: Anderson Street North, The Concourse and Spring Street
- Family-friendly rides and mobile gaming truck at Anderson Street North from 1:30pm
