COLES LOWERS THE PRICE OF CORE ESSENTIALS IN SIMPLY RANGE

  • Coles is lowering the prices on 12 of its Simply range of essentials from Wednesday 7 August
  • Customers will see savings of up to 23% on some of the most popular items in the range with lasagne, sausages, beef burgers, hamburger buns, cheese slices, pasta sauce and soap

Coles is helping Aussie families stretch the grocery budget further this week, lowering the prices on 12 core items in the Coles Simply range. Customers will save immediately, on everyday staples including lasagne, beef burgers, barbeque sausages, chicken burgers, tomato pasta sauce and hot dog rolls.

The new prices will hit shelves from Wednesday 7 August, offering greater value across the Coles Simply range and helping customers to drive their dollar further in the face of ongoing cost-of-living pressures.

New research indicates that competitively priced products remain in the top three factors driving customer store choice[1], with 59% of people surveyed indicating that they have been buying more affordable brands.

Developed to offer customers great value and quality across the store, the total Coles Simply range features over 100 basic household staples that are easily identifiable and with an affordable price point which helps the weekly grocery budget.

Coles Chief Commercial Officer, Anna Croft, said Coles is providing more savings for customers on great quality food, drink and household products.

“Helping Australian families find a bit of savings in their weekly grocery shop is something we’re proud to have achieved. We know it’s a tough time for a lot of households, so being able to lower the prices on key staples like Coles Simply Beef Lasagne, Coles Simply Thin BBQ Sausages and the Coles Simply Classic Tomato Pasta Sauce, will make a difference to our customers.”

“The Coles Simply range has grown in popularity because it represents great value across key categories without our customers having to compromise on quality. This is the key driver for us in helping families to get the best out of their budget, at an affordable price.”
