SMH’s PFAS in Sydney water story: UNSW expert available for comment

Professor Denis O'Carroll is available for comment on the Sydney Morning Herald's story about PFAS chemicals being recorded in Sydney's water catchments.

Denis is the Managing Director at the UNSW Water Research Laboratory, and Professor at the School of Civil & Environmental Engineering.

He is an Associate Editor for Water Resources Research, the Vadose Zone Journal and the Journal of Contaminant Hydrology, and has published research about PFAS in the past.

The NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) is kicking off this year’s Bust the Dust campaign, putting mines on notice to reduce emissions and protect air quality in the Hunter region.
