The nubia Focus 5G with 108MP Neovision camera answers the call of smartphone buyers who want the latest tech at an affordable cost.

ZTE Australia 3 mins read

Flagship phone features – including a 108MP camera, 5G connectivity, and an all-day battery – make the nubia Focus 5G an easy choice when it comes to affordability.

ZTE's nubia consumer brand is here to shake up the affordable smartphone experience with the nubia Focus 5G. From its 108MP main camera with Neovision Photography system, to its brilliant 6.6-inch 120Hz display and 5G connectivity, everything about the nubia Focus 5G says flagship phone, but it's available now at Optus for just $248.40 outright or $1/month device payments over 36 months plus your eligible SIM plan fees with OptusPay1. And yes, it even comes with a wall charger, plus a bonus set of BlueAnt Pump Air Lite2 earbuds valued at $90.

Powerful 108MP camera

nubia understands the importance of photography to any smartphone, regardless of its price. That’s why the Focus 5G brings a massive 108 megapixel main camera, with four focal lengths, in-sensor zoom, and 4K HD video. This capable camera is further enhanced by the Neovision Photography system, to help you capture incredible images. Along with the main camera, an AI camera gives even more options for creativity, while a 5MP front-facing camera is ready for video calls, webcasting, and of course the classic selfie.

6.6-inch 120Hz display

Tomorrow's smartphone demands a brilliant display, and the nubia Focus 5G is ready with a generous 6.6-inch IPS HD+ panel. Running at 120Hz for smooth scrolling, video, and apps, the display has a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels, or 269ppi, for crisp text and razor-sharp images.

Powerful chipset, 256GB storage, and 5G connectivity

At the heart of the nubia Focus 5G beats the fast and powerful 2.2GHz Octa-Core 5G chipset. Combined with 4GB RAM and up to 10GB extended RAM (14GB total), it can stream high resolution and high-quality entertainment without stuttering or delays, and get blazing fast downloads via the Optus 5G network2. The phone also comes with 256GB of built-in storage, giving you ample room for photos, videos, apps, data, and much more.

Tap to pay with NFC

Forget rummaging through your wallet or purse for cards and ID, you can use the nubia Focus 5G near-field communication (NFC) to make secure payments wherever Google Pay is accepted. Depending on your location, you may also be able to use your phone to tap on to public transport, and much more.

5000mAh battery for demanding days, and fast charging

A big full-featured phone is meant to be used all day, and so needs a big battery to keep you connected. The nubia Focus 5G has a long-lasting 5000mAh battery which helps you get more done between charges. And when it comes time to charge, 22.5 watt fast-charging support means the Focus 5G can get topped up in minutes, not hours3.

Android 14 with nubia interface, and stylish design

The nubia Focus 5G runs the latest Android 14 operating system, with an enhanced nubia user interface for added customisability and security, including the innovative Live Island Interactive, which gathers important notifications and live events and helps you become a multitasker. Advanced security features, including side fingerprint sensor and facial recognition, help ensure your data is protected at all times. All of this power and performance is wrapped in a dual-sided glass design body, and is just 8.6mm thick.

The nubia Focus 5G will be available from 5/8/2024 exclusively with Optus. The device will be available in a stunning galactic black finish and will be available to purchase either outright at $248.40 RRP or on OptusPay via a 12, 24 or 36-month term when coupled with an eligible SIM plan.
