Homelessness Action Now: it’s never been more urgent  

Shelter WA will hold a press conference to mark Homelessness Week, with this year’s theme ‘Homelessness Action Now’ capturing the urgency and scale of the work that was still ahead to end WA’s deepening crisis. 

WHO: 

  • Shelter WA CEO Kath Snell

  • Shelter WA CHAIR Kieran Wong 

  • Lana Moon, who is using her lived experience of homelessness to advocate for changes to the system, and is contributing to the HOME Project with Shelter WA. 

  • Affinee Lai, a lived experience advocate and educator, focusing on stigma reduction about homelessness, alcohol and drugs and mental health.


WHEN: Monday August 5, 11am sharp


WHERE: The Platform, Level 3, John Septimus Roe Building, 256 Adelaide Terrace, Perth.
