Innovative Mechatronics Group (IMG), a subsidiary of Amotiv (ASX: AOV), is proud to announce its relocation to a new, significantly larger facility at 29 Bass Court, Keysborough. The move, effective Monday, 9th September 2024, is a major milestone for the company and reinforces IMG’s commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and business growth. The new headquarters, which spans four times the size of the previous Abbott Road office, is set to position the company as a key player in emerging automotive products.

"We are entering a pivotal era for Innovative Mechatronics Group," said Gino Ricciuti, Executive General Manager of IMG. "The move to our new Keysborough facility will allow us to scale operations and venture into high-growth areas like electric vehicles, automation, and electronic repair services. The extra space and cutting-edge infrastructure enable us to be more agile, develop our offerings, and continue to exceed customer expectations."

As a leading provider of advanced mechatronic solutions and a long-standing member of the automotive and industrial sectors, IMG has demonstrated its strength in remanufacturing, technology solutions, and after-sales support. The new location is an integral part of the company's strategic vision to expand its footprints, supporting its ambitious growth targets as part of the publicly listed Amotiv Group.

The new Keysborough headquarters will house IMG’s head office, warehouse, and customer service teams, while Injectronics’ operations will remain at the current Becon Court facility until further notice.

This relocation opens the door to significant opportunities for expansion into emerging markets, including EV and hybrid products. It further signals IMG’s ongoing investment in sustainable, customer-centric solutions, reinforcing its role as an industry leader.

"We see this move as more than just a physical relocation," Ricciuti added. "It’s a symbol of our dedication to growth, innovation, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in mechatronics and industrial solutions. Our customers can expect the same high-quality service they've come to trust, but with even more room for us to develop, innovate, and partner on exciting new projects."

Abolishing penalties for polluting cars locks Australians out of savings, car choice

Australians will be locked out of cleaner, cheaper-to-run cars—and miss out on up to $3,000 a year in savings—if penalties are scrapped for car manufacturers that fail to meet pollution reduction targets under the New Vehicle Efficiency Standard (NVES).Without penalties, manufacturers have no incentive to bring the most modern—and cost-saving—vehicles to our shores. It will mean fewer affordable EVs and efficient petrol/hybrid cars, less price competition, and less options for Australians to access those savings.Reports today indicate that fines could be abolished for car companies that bring in expensive and polluting cars into Australia. This will hurt millions of motorists…

The Coalition’s climate car crash policy for higher pollution and higher petrol costs

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE WEDNESDAY 2 APRIL 2025 The Coalition’s climate car crash policy for higher pollution and higher petrol costs Opposition Leader Peter Dutton is set to send another wrecking ball through Australia’s hard won, sensible climate policies, with reports indicating he plans to destroy the New Vehicle Efficiency Standards. Climate Council CEO Amanda McKenzie said: “Before these standards, Australia had become a dumping ground for the dirtiest vehicles in the world - with the cars the US, China and Europe reject landing in our driveways. On average, new passenger cars in Australia use 20% more fuel than in the…
