Neglected Musicals is very proud to announce the cast of PROMISES, PROMISES

 

STEFFANIE CACCAMO as Fran, this will be Stefanie’s fourth Neglected Musical having previously been seen in IRENE and APPLAUSEJARROD DRAPER as CC, this will be Jarrod’s first Neglected Musical.  He is currently in Sunset Boulevard at SOH.  SCOTT IRWIN as JD Sheldrake, with a career that spans over 30 years its great to see Scott return to Neglected Musicals.  The legendary Wayne Scott Kermond will play Dr Dreyfuss. 

 

Playing about 10 roles each we are joined by  Grace Driscoll, Todd Goddard, Paul Hanlon, Kira Leiva, Sarah Murr, Tom Sharah and P Tucker Worley

 

Promises, Promises is based on the 1960 film The Apartment starring Shirley MacLaine and Jack Lemon. 

With music by Burt Bacharach, lyrics by Hal David and a book by Neil Simon

We follow a young junior executive at an insurance company who seeks to climb the corporate ladder by allowing his apartment to be used by his married superiors for trysts. Directed by Dean Drieberg With all the wonderful Bacharach and David songs you love Say A Little Prayer, A House Is Not A Home, I’ll Never Fall In Love Again and Promises, Promises.

Neglected Musicals is a theatre initiative dedicated to presenting musical theatre that has never or rarely been in Australia.  The musicals are presented with scripts in hand, piano accompaniment, after only a day’s rehearsal.  There have been 27 Neglected Musicals presentations since 2010.
