HIGHLIGHTS

  • RocketDNA signs two new contracts for its PatrolBot autonomous surveillance solution
  • PatrolBot is a security-specific model of the xBot® solution series, providing autonomous perimeter monitoring and surveillance, ensuring the safety of critical infrastructure and assets
  • Total contract value (TCV) of ~AU$350,000

RocketDNA Ltd (ASX: RKT) (RocketDNA or the Company), a technology service company that leverages AI and Autonomous Drones to provide mission-critical services for enterprise customers, is pleased to announce the signing of two significant contracts for its xBot® surveillance model (PatrolBot) with SSG Security Solutions Pty Ltd.

The PatrolBot system is a cutting-edge, autonomous surveillance solution designed to continuously secure critical perimeters and monitor assets.

These contracts focus on securing mining sites, leveraging PatrolBot's ability to operate autonomously, significantly enhancing security operations without constant human supervision.

Industries such as mining, energy, and utilities face ongoing challenges in maintaining security across vast and remote areas.

Traditional security methods, including static cameras and human patrols, are insufficient to cover extensive perimeters effectively. These costly methods can leave sites vulnerable to theft, illegal activities, or security breaches, especially in high-risk regions.

RocketDNA's PatrolBot solution is specifically designed to address these challenges. Using AI-driven drones, the PatrolBot conducts autonomous patrols within large perimeter and area boundaries, detecting and responding to irregular activity in real time.

The system provides continuous coverage without the need for human intervention, allowing clients to monitor and secure their sites efficiently and cost-effectively.

PatrolBot is capable of identifying and qualifying potential threats, sharing live video feeds, and co-ordinating with on-site security teams to mitigate risks immediately.

This level of automation reduces labour costs, decreases response times, and enhances overall security for the customer.

Commenting on the contracts, RocketDNA CEO, Chris Clark said:

"These contract wins further validate the commercial demand for our autonomous xBot® drone technology, particularly in security and surveillance arena.

Our PatrolBot solution offers clients an effective and scalable method of securing their perimeters and critical assets with minimal human intervention. We are proud to provide such innovative technology to support these high-stakes operations.

RocketDNA’s deployment of PatrolBot aligns with our broader business strategy of expanding our reach into industries where security, public safety, and critical infrastructure protection are top priorities.

These new contracts reinforce RocketDNA’s position as a leader in delivering cutting-edge drone solutions that solve real-world problems for our enterprise customers.”

Contracts Overview

These two contracts each with 12-month terms, awarded to RocketDNA (RocketDNA ZA Pty Ltd) by SSG Security Solutions Pty Ltd, involve the deployment of PatrolBot units across a number of mining sites for the monitoring and reporting of defined areas using drone or unmanned technology for the purpose of security overwatch and intelligence gathering.

These PatrolBot units will provide comprehensive, autonomous perimeter security, protecting critical assets from illegal activities such as unauthorised mining, trespassing, and sabotage.

Following an initial period of six months, either party may terminate the agreement without prejudice by giving 90 days’ notice. The agreement contains various other terms considered standard for agreements of this nature.

The contracts have a combined Total Contract Value (TCV) contribution of approximately AU$350,000 (ZAR = R4,211,604).
