Score big with free National Pies this AFL Grand Final Friday at Fed Square 



In celebration with this year’s Grand Final festivities, Tasmanian Bakeries is serving up a food truck full of free National Pies at Melbourne’s Fed Square on 27 September, Grand Final Friday.

 

The iconic brand will be giving away 4,000 little meat pies throughout the day from 6am to 2pm (500 pies per hour) along with awarding  hundreds of “on-the-spot” limited edition prizes. 

 

They’ve also cooked up something extra special for AFL Tasmania Devils members. The first 50 members to show proof of membership will receive a limited-edition, National Pies football - signed by AFL great and National Pies for Local Legends grants ambassador, Jack Riewoldt. 

 

Footy fans are invited to converge upon the corner of Swanston and Flinders Streets from 6am when the first batch of pies will be served. Throughout the day, thousands of National Pies will be distributed to hungry footy fans as they make their way from Flinders Station and surrounds via Fed Square to the AFL Grand Final Parade.
