A DECADE OF HEARTACHE FOR THE LOVED ONES OF WILLIAM TYRRELL

For 10 long years the Australian public have asked ‘Where’s William?’, the cheeky little 3-year-old boy in the Spider-Man suit as William’s loved ones continued to suffer and pray for the call from police that precious William had been found – the call that has never come.

Although William’s disappearance sparked one of the most extensive and expensive ongoing investigations in Australian history with police targeting numerous persons of interest and spending millions of dollars on multiple exhaustive forensic searches; no charges relating to William’s disappearance have been laid and no trace of the little boy in the Spider-Man suit has ever been found.

“Our hearts break for all William’s loved ones. Now, as they await the outcome of the coronial inquest - the longest in NSW history, there is some new hope that finally they’ll learn what has happened to their precious little boy,” said Clare Collins, Where’s William? campaign director.

The Where’s William? campaign that initiated the first $1million reward in NSW, remains Australia’s largest missing persons campaign dedicated to supporting a police investigation.

“As long as there’s no evidence to suggest William is deceased, with stories of missing children being found alive decades after their abduction, the Where’s William? campaign holds on to the hope - however small - that William could still be found alive. He could be anywhere,” she said.

“On the tragic tenth anniversary of William’s unsolved disappearance, Where’s William? is inviting all Australians to show their love and support for William and his loved ones by lighting a candle to help create a symbolic pathway of hope - hope that William can find his way home to all who love him, especially his siblings.

“We will never give up on William or stop shining a spotlight on the need to find him as we continue to ask anyone with information, even the smallest piece, to please come forward and contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000,” said Ms Collins.

A ONE MILLION DOLLAR reward for information that leads NSW Police to William remains on offer. Make the call and help bring William home!
