Life may be more complicated than ever, but Frank Health Insurance has been keeping things simple for 15 years.

When Frank launched in 2009, we were listening to Love Story in our bedrooms and now we’re at The Eras Tour in stadiums across the world.  In fact, the number of occasions* Frank has supported members on their health journeys in the past 15 years would be enough to sell out the MCG 14 times! Take that Taylor!

From hospital visits to dental check-ups, Frank has been right there with members every step of the way:

  • 80,230 hospital admissions
  • 424,536 physiotherapy and hydrotherapy sessions
  • 191,876 optical services
  • 727,103 dental treatments
  • 3,695 babies born

Nick Ilievski, Brand Manager at Frank, said since day one, Frank had been all about taking the complexity out of health insurance.

“Frank knows that everyone deserves coverage they can easily understand and easily access, whether they prefer to manage their health online or over the phone,” he said. “Our online platform is accessible and provides transparency, and our friendly customer support team is just a quick phone call away for those who prefer a more personal touch.”

Ilievski said Frank’s health insurance products were designed with simplicity and value in mind, with no hidden surprises.

“The products are always evolving, so that members can always get the best options for their circumstances, with no frills,” he said.

Frank also works with partners like AHSA Gap Cover to help members avoid out-of-pocket expenses, and smile.com.au to deliver affordable dental care.

To celebrate turning 15, Frank is giving members the chance to win a $150 gift card, all they need to do is login to the app before 25 November 2024^.

Brokers urged to strengthen oversight of strata insurance arrangements

The Insurance Brokers Code Compliance Committee (IBCCC) has called on brokers to strengthen oversight of their representatives after a review found weaknesses in strata insurance arrangements involving brokers, strata managers and owners corporations. In its report, Strengthening transparency and trust in broker-agent arrangements, the IBCCC reviewed seven brokers that collectively have 1,088 representatives in strata management. The review found that some brokers were not consistently implementing the safeguards required by the Insurance Brokers Code of Practice. These included weaknesses in representative agreements, remuneration disclosure, management of conflicts of interest, and oversight of representative conduct and compliance. Chair of the Insurance…
