ACA champions blueprint for change

Australian Constructors Association < 1 mins read

The Australian Constructors Association (ACA) welcomes the commitment made at the National Construction Industry Forum (NCIF) to work together on creating real, long-term change by developing a Building and Construction Industry Blueprint within the next six months.

ACA has played a vital role in shaping this initiative, viewing the current situation as an opportunity to build a stronger industry that benefits everyone rather than a crisis.

ACA CEO Jon Davies said, “We’re committed to working together to create a sustainable that welcomes all and is fair for all.

“We have to act fast. The opportunity is right in front of us, and we need to move quickly to get this blueprint off the ground.”

The NCIF’s work won’t overlap with other initiatives, but it will build on progress already made through efforts like the National Construction Strategy, the Construction Industry Culture Taskforce and the Construction Industry Leadership Forum. Together, these efforts aim to deliver real, measurable outcomes that will benefit the whole industry.

“We are ready to get to work and make sure we don’t miss this chance to create a stronger, more sustainable future for the construction industry,” said Mr Davies.

ACA CEO Jon Davies said, “The BPIC pause does not mean we lose sight of the critical importance of safety and training. Our workers are our greatest asset, and they stand to benefit significantly from enhanced productivity.” The ACA also…
