Leading global logistics provider, DB Schenker, has announced the appointment of Helen Angell to the position of Chief Information Officer, Australia and New Zealand (CIO ANZ).

Helen has an impressive pedigree in the IT space, including more than 30 years of experience, with roles in well-known companies in industries such as finance, construction, equipment, and consulting.

“Helen has particular expertise in enabling business success by leveraging technology solutions, which will be an asset to the DB Schenker ANZ team,” said DB Schenker ANZ CEO, Craig Davison.

“Having worked in CIO and Director roles for major companies, Helen brings a wealth of knowledge to our Senior Leadership Team, and to our ANZ operation,” he added.

Helen says she is excited to work for DB Schenker because the company has an extensive global footprint, and is utilising technology to drive added value for customers.

“DB Schenker is well respected in the logistics industry, and with the increasing prevalence of condition monitoring, tracking, and other digital technologies as part of the supply chain, it’s an exciting time to be driving IT initiatives within the company,” she said.
