HALLIDAY WINE COMPANION ANNOUNCES TOP 100 WINES, PRESENTED BY SENSE OF TASTE

Tide Communications 7 mins read

This morning, Halliday Wine Companion announced the highly anticipated release of its Top 100 Wines of 2024, proudly presented by Sense of Taste.

The Halliday Wine Companion Top 100 Wines 2024 has been selected by the Halliday Tasting Team, including Dave Brookes, Jane Faulkner, Jeni Port, Marcus Ellis, Mike Bennie, Philip Rich, Shanteh Wale, and Toni Paterson MW. The wines are highlights from the tasting season and showcase the diversity that Australian wine has to offer. The lists celebrate value, focus on availability of the selected wines, and most importantly, include wines for any budget.

The Top 100 Wines span a variety of categories: Australian sparkling, White wines under $40, White wines over $40, Red wines under $50, Red wines over $50, and the inaugural Taster’s Pick. The Taster’s pick sees each member of the Tasting Team nominate their top wine of the year.

We are delighted to present this year's Top 100 Wines, highlighting the extraordinary diversity of Australian wine regions, each to be celebrated in their own right. These wines exemplify the quality and craftsmanship that define our wine industry.” - Halliday Wine Companion Head of Tasting Katrina Butler.

The Halliday Wine Companion Top 100 2024 is presented by ‘Australia’s finest fine wine store’, Sense of Taste. With stores across Brisbane and a strong online presence, Sense of Taste has worked with Halliday to make some of the featured Top 100 Wines available for wine lovers to purchase across Australia.
