RACV is proud to be partnering with Melbourne Diwali for the RACV Melbourne Diwali 2024 festival – a free event this Saturday 26 October 2024 at Marvel Stadium from 1pm to 10pm – offering a day filled with culture, entertainment and celebration with up to 20,000 visitors expected.

RACV Melbourne Diwali CEO Anna Bhardwaj said the festival played a huge role in fostering community connections and was more than just a festival.

“RACV Melbourne Diwali 2024 is a community platform that celebrates and promotes the values that define our community,” Ms Bhardwaj said.

"Our vision this year is to foster an even deeper sense of connection within our multicultural community. Melbourne thrives on diversity, and Diwali is the perfect symbol of the vibrant, interconnected lives we lead.”

As part of this exciting collaboration, RACV Melbourne Diwali 2024 will feature several enhancements, making this year's festival the largest and most immersive celebration yet.

"This year, we're back bigger and better as RACV Melbourne Diwali 2024 – an experience that's bursting with more of everything we love about this festival,” Ms Bhardwaj said.

“We invite all Victorians to join RACV Melbourne Diwali 2024, not just as attendees but as active participants.   • Enhanced entertainment: Interactive zones, additional giveaways, cultural performances, and family-friendly activities throughout the day, with $20,000 worth of giveaways and 3000 showbags.
  • Content Creators Lounge: A first for RACV Melbourne Diwali, providing a space for content creators to capture and share the festival's best moments.
  • CDS Vic Melbourne Diwali Dance Competition: Showcasing diverse Indian dance styles and local talent.
  • Festive Journey Through India - Food by Delaware North: A culinary journey through India's diverse regions, offering an authentic and immersive food experience.
  • Illuminated Happy Diwali sign: Visitors are welcomed to take photos with the Happy Diwali sign located on Harbour Esplanade from 23 October.
