Dig IT is looking for its first ever AMBASSA-DIGGERS!!

Australia’s First Mini-Excavator Park Calls for Ambassa-Diggers!

Are your little ones obsessed with diggers and playing in the dirt? Do they dream of being behind the controls of a real mini-excavator? Well, the perfect dig, we mean gig, has arrived!

Australia’s first-ever mini-excavator park, Dig IT, based right here in South East Queensland at Tamborine Mountain, is looking to appoint two fabulous little diggers as the first ever Ambasa-Diggers!

“We’re looking for two little diggers between the ages of 5 years and 10 years who love being outside, digging in the dirt, and aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty (while wearing high-viz, of course!). We know kids love Dig IT, and also know that kids want to hear from OTHER kids about Dig IT, not from us grownups,” said Dig IT owner Kate Keegan, who started the park with her brother Sam last year.

In the 18 months since Dig IT opened, over 130,000 people have walked through the famous gates at Thunderbird Park, with a crazy 3,004,460 minutes (they are very accurate at Dig IT πŸ˜‰) spent on the nine mini-excavators!  There’s been over 38,000 pesky ‘crocs caught on the hook (showing some excellent skill levels πŸ˜‰), almost 650,000 blocks have been pushed over in the Demolition Zone (the staff love it πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰) and more than 30,000 block towers have been restacked (for excited kids to smash them again!).

SO - if your child could give Bob the Builder a run for his money, feels right at home in front of a camera, and is full of energy and creativity, they could be Dig IT’s very first Ambasa-Digger – MUST APPLY BY DECEMBER 1!

As part of the Dig IT family, the two Ambasa-Diggers will be responsible for:

• Making regular visits to Dig IT – especially for special events, welcoming guests, and testing new experiences!
• Being the face of Dig IT on TV – talking to news crews when they come to cover stories on our park ⭐⭐
• Taking over Dig IT’s social media and radio – becoming the voice of our online presence and even creating their own YouTube channel!
• Trying out new Dig IT merchandise – including exclusive shirts and gear that’ll make them the coolest diggers on-site 😍
• Sharing feedback with the Dig IT team – offering valuable insights into what kids love the most about the park!

Who We Need as Ambassa-Diggers:

  1. Ambassa-Digger applicants must be between the ages of 5 years and 10 years
  2. Must love being outside, digging in the dirt, and not afraid to get their hands dirty (while wearing high-viz, of course!)
  3. Must be able to talk into a camera and be comfortable being interviewed, and talking to other kids!
  4. Must be creative and love a little attention!!

How to Apply:
Just head to digit.com.au, answer the three questions and upload a super fun video!

WHAT ELSE…

High Viz for the Summer Holidays πŸ‘·πŸ½‍β™€οΈπŸ‘·πŸ½‍♂️ The summer holidays are almost here, and that means time to get down and dirty at Dig IT!! We’re ready for little diggers to come and move some dirt and are open 7 days a week over the holidays!  ** Remember to BOOK early as we do fill up***

Absolutely everyone can Dig IT! Dig you know (see what we did there, again πŸ˜‰) that Dig IT is 100 per cent accessible. Plus, we have started special Wednesday sessions in non-school holiday periods for little diggers with higher needs πŸ₯° so kids with sensory or heightened needs can come and sit the driver’s seats too! There’s fewer participants, sessions are longer and more time is taken. TELL EVERYONE πŸ“’πŸ“’πŸ“’

How to get to Dig IT: We are at Thunderbird Park, on the corner of Cedar Creek Falls Road on Tamborine Mountain, an easy hour’s drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
