COLES LOWERS THE PRICE OF OVER 550 PRODUCTS FOR CHRISTMAS

Easing the cost of Christmas entertaining with savings on meat, snacks, beverages and more

 

Coles has lowered the price of more than 550 products in store and online to help customers prepare for Christmas celebrations – including 115 pantry and entertaining essentials dropping in price today and staying down for at least the next three months.

 

Recent research shows that many customers are getting creative with their Christmas spending this year – with just under a quarter of customers planning to cook more at home this Christmas and grabbing food specials early to spread out their costs.[1]

 

Starting today, customers can save on products perfect for summer entertaining including South Cape Brie 200g down to $6 from $6.80, Riverina Haloumi 180g down to $6.60 from $5.80, Capilano Pure Honey Upside Down Squeeze 500g down to $7.50 from $8.60, Pepsi Max Slim Can 275ml 6 pack down to $5.85 from $9 - and for summer treats Proud & Punch Chocolate That’s Bananas Frozen Dessert 6 Pack down to $5.50 from $8.50 and Cottee's Ice Magic Chocolate Ice Cream Topping 220g down to $4 from $4.50.

 

The Christmas price campaign commenced in early October with Coles committing to reducing the price of family staples. Customers can shop more than 550 products that have been lowered in price right up to Christmas Day, in addition to the thousands of weekly specials on offer each week.

 

With only 28 sleeps until Santa arrives Coles has weeknight dinners sorted, with the price of Coles RSPCA Chicken Breast Kyiv Garlic Butter 700g down to $8.50 from $9.50, Coles Beef Stir Fry 500g down to $10 from $11.50 and Coles Tasmanian Salmon Portions Skin On 4pk down to $17.50 from $19.50.

 

Customers can stock the pantry with condiments from Masterfoods with Dijon Mustard 170g, Horseradish Cream Sauce 175g and English Mustard 175g all down to $2.90 each from $4 while Sunbeam Australian Currants 300g are down to $5 from $5.50.

 

There are also savings on easy snacks with Coles Dry Roasted Nut Mix 400g down to $9 from $12, Doritos Cheese Supreme Corn Chips Share pack 380g down to $6 from $8.50 and Red Rock Deli Potato Chips Party Bag Honey Soy Chicken 280g down to $6 from $8.50.

 

Coles Chief Commercial Officer, Anna Croft said Coles is committed to providing value to customers as they prepare for the festive season.

 

“We are committed to delivering value for our customers to help them fit more into their weekly budget and ease the cost of Christmas celebrations”, Anna said.

 

“Today we’re lowering the price of 115 products; to bring the total number of products we’ve reduced since October to more than 550 – providing savings until at least Christmas day across popular meat products and, pantry and entertaining staples we know our customers buy throughout the festive season.”
