The Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry congratulates Lord Mayor Nick Reece and Deputy Lord Mayor Roshena Campbell on their election.
The Lord Mayor’s experience on Council, including the past few months in the role, position him well to hit the ground running. The Lord Mayor has engaged with the Chamber throughout the election campaign, with one of his first announcements being that Victorian Chamber Chief Executive Paul Guerra would chair the inaugural Melbourne 3000 board.
The Victorian Chamber and Committee for Melbourne are motivated and enthusiastic to work with the incoming Lord Mayor, Deputy Lord Mayor and councillors to collaborate on Melbourne’s revival.
To be attributed to Victorian Chamber Chief Executive Paul Guerra:
“Congratulations to Lord Mayor Nick Reece and Deputy Lord Mayor Roshena Campbell on their election to these crucial roles which will help guide our city’s future.
“The Victorian Chamber and Committee for Melbourne look forward to our continued engagement and enhanced collaboration with the City of Melbourne, particularly through the Melbourne 3000 Board.
“Businesses in the City have been clear about the need to improve amenity, accessibility and safety and we hope the Lord Mayor and his team will successfully implement their policies to deliver these outcomes.”
