Free entry to pools on Saturday 7 December

Celebrate the start of summer with a free visit to a world-class City of Sydney pool on Saturday 7 December. 

 

The open day will see our aquatic and fitness centres buzzing with activities in and out of the pool. 

 

Visitors can enjoy a free swim, pilates class, HITT workout or gym session, with loads of giveaways and prizes on offer. 

 

Sunrise yoga sessions, health consultations, fitness competitions and swimming assessments for kids will also take place. 

 

Bring your friends and family to one of our outstanding inner-city centres and check out all they have to offer,” Lord Mayor of Sydney, Clover Moore AO said. 

 

Come along to our open day and you may just rediscover your passion for yoga or fall in love with a new summer swimming spot. 

 

Open days will be held at these City of Sydney aquatic centres: 

 

  • Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre, Zetland 

  • Prince Alfred Park Pool, Surry Hills 

  • Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre, Ultimo 

  • Victoria Park Pool, Camperdown 

  • Cook + Phillip Park Pool, city centre 

 

Entry to our centres is free from 6am to 8pm on Saturday 7 December. Visit What’s On to find out more about activities running on the day.
