Gear up for a Koala-filled Christmas!

Australian Koala Foundation 2 mins read

1 November 2024

The Australian Koala Foundation (AKF) is excited to launch their annual Christmas Catalogue, ahead of the 2024 holiday season.

With Christmas under sixty days away, it’s the perfect time for shoppers to start thinking about gifts for family, friends and Koala lovers alike! As all sales proceeds go towards the mission of saving the Koala, buyers can be assured that they will be purchasing a gift that gives back to our beloved furry friends.

The catalogue features carefully curated gifts that will be perfect for even the fussiest of family members and includes a wide range of items, from children’s toys and homewares to classic stocking fillers.

If you want to go one step beyond physical gifts this Christmas, the Australian Koala Foundation encourages purchasing a Koala adoption or planting a tree as gift for a fellow Koala lover. The AKF also accepts donations and can provide a gift certificate on behalf of the purchaser.

“Christmas is the most joyous time of the year, and we as Australians know that there is no animal that elicits more joy than the Koala,” says Australian Koala Foundation chair Deborah Tabart OAM.

“Both our Save the Koala store and online shop operate out of Warialda in New South Wales, a tiny little town with a big heart for Koalas and their welfare. Gifts purchased also benefit the Warialda community and Chris, our store manager, is well-known and loved amongst the locals.

We are so excited to offer gifts in-store and online that celebrate the beauty of the Koala while at the same time help to secure a better future for them in the wild.”

The Australian Koala Foundation’s 2024 Christmas catalogue will be available online and will be open for orders from now up until Christmas. Shoppers are encouraged to purchase their gifts as soon as possible to ensure they arrive in time for the holidays. International cut off for postage will be Friday the 22nd of November, and domestic cut off for postage will be Friday the 6th of December.

This Christmas, join the Australian Koala Foundation in celebrating the festive season by giving gifts that give back to our iconic Aussie animals!
