MEDIA ALERT: Boggabri Coal mineworkers to celebrate first Same Job Same Pay Order in NSW

Boggabri Coal mineworkers will gather for a BBQ to celebrate the first successful application for Same Job Same Pay in NSW, after new laws kicked in this month.

The application covers about 50 One Key workers which is set to lift pay by up to $15,000 a year at Boggabri mine near Gunnedah. 

Same Job Same Pay laws were introduced by the Albanese Labor Government in December 2023 and came into effect on 1 November.
