ACOSS, UNSW Sydney and lived experience experts will hold a press conference in Parliament at 9.30am on Wednesday to release a new report by the Poverty and Inequality Partnership.

The report reveals people on income support, renters, and sole parents are up to five times more likely to experience multiple material deprivation than the general population.

Rough sleeping in NSW surges amidst housing crisis

Rough sleeping in New South Wales has surged by 51% in the past four years amid historically low rental vacancy rates, according to The Australian Homelessness Monitor 2024 released today.
