Oar Resources Appoints Charles Nesbitt as Exploration Manager to Advance Uranium Projects

Perth, Australia – 14 November 2024 | Oar Resources Limited (ASX: OAR) (“Oar” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Nesbitt as the Company’s new Exploration Manager. Mr. Nesbitt brings more than 25 years of experience in the uranium sector, having worked across all four operational and former uranium mines in Australia. 

Highlights:

  • Industry Experience: Mr. Nesbitt has held senior roles as an Exploration Geologist, Technical Director, and Chief Technical Officer across diverse projects, including work at Olympic Dam (BHP), Beverley/Four Mile (Heathgate Resources), Honeymoon (Boss Energy), and Ranger (Energy Resources of Australia).

  • Strategic Role: As Exploration Manager, Mr. Nesbitt will focus on advancing Oar’s exploration portfolio, with an emphasis on uranium assets in Namibia and Brazil, leveraging his extensive background in exploration, mine production, as well as regulatory matters and compliance.

Austral acquires Lady Loretta mine to significantly expand copper growth pipelin
