TCL 4 mins read

SYDNEY, November 13th, 2024 – TCL introduced the TCL 50 PRO NXTPAPER 5G, a new smartphone with unique anti-glare screen and competitive pricing, enhancing reading and viewing experiences. TCL’s NXTPAPER technology and the newly integrated NXTPAPER Key ensure comfort and clarity for all types of digital content.

"Consumers want phones that’s easy to use and perform well," said Jefferson Li, the General Manager of TCL Mobile Phone BU. "With our NXTPAPER technology, the TCL 50 PRO NXTPAPER 5G phones set a new standard for comfort and safety, offering users a new way to engage in the digital world."

Comfortable Adaptive Viewing in Any Setting

TCL 50 PRO NXTPAPER 5G phones transform screen time into a strain-free, comfortable experience. The integrated NXTPAPER 3.0 technology adapts display settings based on lighting conditions, minimising blue light and glare to allow comfortable viewing indoors and outdoors. This eye-protective design is certified by TÜV, SGS1, and Eyesafe2. The integrated Eye Care Assistant prompts users to take breaks and adjusts screen settings to reduce strain.

Featuring automatic colour temperature controls, TCL 50 PRO NXTPAPER 5G adjusts based on the time of day. The display remains clear and glare-free with an outdoor peak brightness of up to 650 nits. In the dark, the Night Light mode switches to a gentler glow that reduces eye strain. This technology maintains comfort in any setting, no matter how much screen time you log in.

Immersive Reading

TCL 50 PRO NXTPAPER 5G Anti-glare Feature

TCL 50 PRO NXTPAPER 5G phones enhance the display experience, making reading digital text feel like traditional paper. Based on user feedback from earlier models, the NXTPAPER Key, previously exclusive to tablets, has now been integrated into the smartphones.

The NXTPAPER Key activates Max Ink Mode, transitioning the display to an e-ink format. This reading mode mutes notifications and reduces eye-strain, ideal for reading novels or documents. It provides a visual experience with a paper-textured display that closely mimics the feel of printed media. Max Ink Mode’s battery life supports up to 7 days of reading and up to 26 days on standby. Moreover, users can access reading materials through various applications.

With a 6.8’’ FHD+ display and a 120Hz refresh rate, the TCL 50 PRO NXTPAPER 5G phones provide smooth, fluid, and clear scrolling and actions.

Diverse and High-Performance Functionality

The TCL 50 PRO NXTPAPER 5G includes 512GB of internal storage, supporting multi-tasking and storing high-resolution photos and videos. Users can purchase the optional protective Flipcase and precision T-Pen stylus, accessories to increase productivity. With these features, TCL 50 PRO NXTPAPER 5G is a great companion in our digital lifestyle.
