TV, PRINT AND PHOTO OPPORTUNITY: Announcement of Australian Museum Pasifika Tauhi Project with U.S. Ambassador Caroline Kennedy

What: In collaboration with the U.S. Embassy, the Australian Museum (AM) is partnering with cultural institutions and communities in the Pacific to establish a new museum-to-museum initiative, the Pasifika Tauhi Project.

The project aims to build capacity for cultural revitalisation and preservation across the region and assist in safeguarding these knowledges and practices, particularly from the impact of climate change.

Opportunity to film: objects from the Australian Museum cultural collection with over 65000 objects, including rare opportunity to take overlay behind the scenes footage, and interview opportunities with representatives from the Australian Museum and Pacific partners.

When: Australian Museum Cultural Collection Centre (CCC)

Thursday 14 November 2024

Time: 1pm-2pm, arrival 12.45pm

Where: 55 Kirby Street, Rydalmere.

Raising NDIS price caps results in higher fees and does not increase service provision, new research by the e61 Institute has found. The research tracked prices and service hours in the weeks around 1 July 2025 when the NDIA lifted price caps for some services - including daily living assistance and behaviour supports - and decreased them for others such as physiotherapy and podiatry.
