Willoughby City Council has released the 2023/24 Annual Report showing positive outcomes for the community with over 85% of planned civic activities completed before 30 June 2024.

Over 150 Council projects were progressed in the 12 months from July 2023, including capital works to resheet 37,000m2 of road, and building or improving 4,500m2 of footpaths.

Council also continued its commitment to social programs that support the community and environment. 7,400 residents attended 145 environmental and community resilience events, as well as successfully receiving endorsement for Council’s Reconciliation Action Plan.

Customer service was an ongoing value add for the community as Council received over 44,000 customer calls and 33,000 emails. Close to 70,000 residents were engaged in consultations on major policy and projects in the financial year, ensuring more of the community has their say on planning matters than ever before.
