Christmas: A Season of Hope Amidst Global Challenges

Brisbane, December 2024 — As the world navigates an era of uncertainty, iSEE Church Brisbane invites the community to rediscover the enduring message of Christmas — hope, peace, and unity.  Against the backdrop of global challenges such as climate change, economic instability, and escalating conflicts, this year’s Christmas celebrations serve as a powerful reminder of humanity’s capacity for resilience and compassion.

Niki Hamalainen, spokesperson for iSEE Church Brisbane highlights the significance of this year’s theme: “This Christmas, we are focusing on the light that shines in the darkness. As we see families, nations, and individuals facing hardships, the message of Jesus’ birth, one of hope and new beginnings, feels more relevant than ever.”

A Time to Come Together

“This is a season for coming together, not just in celebration, but in mutual support and shared humanity,” says Hamalainen.  “We invite everyone, regardless of their background or beliefs, to join us in celebrating the hope of Christmas.”

Christmas Events at iSEE Church

The community is invited to experience the wonder of Christmas through various events, including our Christmas Eve Carols Service; A contemporary celebration featuring inspiring messages and uplifting worship and music for the whole family.
