Video News Release, with interviews and overlay footage available.

30 December 2024 Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s...LittleOak Infant Formula. In a world first, a local Melbourne mum became the first ever to receive formula via drone today. A true game-changer for parents, The LittleOak Company is taking consumer service to new heights becoming the world’s first formula to offer drone delivery with DoorDash. This exciting development has been years in the making, and spearheaded by LittleOak CEO and Founder, Elke Pascoe, an award-winning entrepreneur and mum of three.

Australian families will now have the option to have their LittleOak order flown straight to their home by drone, starting with consumers in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs. The innovative new service provides the highest levels of convenience for busy families, with an average flight time of five minutes.

“When the baby is sleeping, you can’t exactly pop to the store. Or worse, you might drive there, and the baby falls asleep on the way,” said Rose Smith, Melbourne-based mum. “I placed my order on DoorDash, and it arrived in less than 20 minutes and dropped the delivery off right in our driveway. This is going to be a gamechanger for parents,” she added.

With the support of health food store Go Vita and utilising Wing’s drone delivery service, parents within approximately 10km of the Eastland Shopping Centre can now order their LittleOak formulas and toddler milks through DoorDash and have them flown to them.

“Being a mum is so busy. We’re so time poor and the idea that formula can literally be dropped into my driveway is mind blowing. It's something that really works and it’s just very cool,” said Ms. Smith.

LittleOak’s drone delivery service represents a significant leap in expanding access and convenience for Australian families. “As a mum of 3 myself, including a 10-month-old, I know firsthand how important it is to have ready access to the products you depend on to care for your children,” said Elke Pascoe, LittleOak Founder and CEO. “Sometimes it just isn't feasible to get everyone in the car and head to the shops or to wait days for your delivery to arrive. With our new drone delivery option, parents can now have their LittleOak delivered straight to them - at the click of a button, and all while the baby sleeps,” Ms. Pascoe added.

In further good news this new delivery mode comes with zero carbon emissions and pollution, with the all-electric aircraft flying above roadways and traffic, making it both a family and environmentally friendly choice.

Lovingly milked and made in New Zealand, LittleOak is the first formula brand to be certified 100% palm oil free by the internationally recognised Palm Oil Free Certification Accreditation Programme (POFCAP).

“Innovation is at the heart of our little company, and we will continue to set a healthier, more sustainable standard in the infant nutrition category, because that is what our children deserve, and nothing less,” said Ms. Pascoe.

“Drone delivery has been a dream of mine for several years and I am so excited to be working with Wing and Go Vita to nourish even more Australian children with truly natural nutrition. In this case, the sky really is the limit when it comes to supporting our Aussie families,” said Ms. Pascoe.

LittleOak’s range of infant formulas and toddler milks are available for drone delivery via DoorDash and can be purchased from www.thelittleoakcompany.com.au as well as select retailers. Terms and conditions apply to each order made through DoorDash.
