$3M Yacht Auction Starts at $1 with No Reserve

In a rare and exciting event, a luxury motor yacht has been listed for auction with no reserve, offering an incredible opportunity for one lucky bidder. The 72-foot vessel, which suffered significant damage during a major weather event on the Gold Coast late last year.

“The phones have been ringing off the hook since we listed the vessel. We've had to dedicate a team member almost full-time to handle the overwhelming number of inspection inquiries,” said Mr. Lee Hames, Chief Operations Officer at Lloyds Auctions.

The yacht presents a unique chance for boating enthusiasts or experienced boat builders to restore a stunning vessel to its former glory.

“This is the perfect opportunity for someone who recognises the value in the strong bones of this magnificent yacht,” Mr. Hames added.

The unprecedented weather event that impacted much of Southeast Queensland last year has turned into an unexpected opportunity for a bidder to secure a high-value yacht at a bargain price.

“The truth is, we have no idea what this yacht will sell for at auction. This situation is entirely unprecedented in the marine auction scene, we’ll see where it lands on auction day, January 31.” Mr. Hames noted.

The 2014 Horizon V72 motor yacht accommodates six guests across three cabins and is celebrated for its sleek design, clean lines, and exceptional entertainment spaces both indoors and outdoors.

Interested bidders can place their bids at lloydsauctions.com.au, with the auction set to close on Friday, January 31, at 7 PM. Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a luxury yacht at an extraordinary value.
