Bait Us Salam Mosque Langwarrin Celebrating Unity on Australia Day 2025 with BBQ

It is was great pride that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Victoria invited neighbours, politicians to the Australia Day BBQ. This esteemed event celebrated with the spirit of unity, diversity, and the shared values that make Australia truly remarkable. This event was attended by Michael Galea MP Member for South-East Metropolitan Region.

This annual celebration brings together distinguished guests, including Members of Parliament, government officials, mayors, civic and religious leaders, and community members from all walks of life. It is a unique occasion to foster meaningful dialogue and strengthen the bonds of our vibrant multicultural society.

The National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Australia, Imam. I.H. Kauser stated:
 
"We, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, always pray for the progress and development of our homeland, Australia. In keeping with our traditions, we will celebrate Australia Day at all mosques across the country. We stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our nation, government, and fellow citizens because our religion teaches us that love for one’s country of residence is a part of faith."
 
The Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Caliph, His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, has guided Community members in this regard:

"True loyalty requires a relationship built on sincerity and integrity… It is essential for a citizen of any country to establish a relationship of genuine loyalty and faithfulness to their nation. This applies equally, whether one is a born citizen or has gained citizenship later in life."
