Dial-A-Dump fined $30,000 for licence breach at Eastern Creek facility

The NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) has fined Dial-A-Dump (EC) Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Bingo Industries Limited, $30,000 for a licence breach related to dust management. Following community complaints, EPA officers conducted an inspection of the Bingo Eastern Creek recycling facility on 11 March and observed intermittent dust emissions from a conveyor belt system at the rear of one of the processing buildings and accumulated dust, debris and litter on some machinery.
