Delivered by Licensing International, the global peak body for licensing, the initiative - titled "Mentor Mornings", aims to foster new talent and encourage professional growth in the rapidly expanding licensing industry.

Licensing is a flourishing yet often serendipitous career path, with many professionals discovering it by chance. The Mentor Mornings program seeks to change that by offering structured opportunities for aspiring and established talent to connect with experienced industry leaders. By doing so, the program aims to cultivate a new generation of innovators and leaders, ensuring the continued success and vibrancy of the licensing sector.

“We are thrilled to support Licensing International in this important mentoring initiative,” said Tim Everett, VP & GM of Disney Consumer Products in Australia and New Zealand. “Disney Consumer Products recognises the value of nurturing talent and empowering individuals to succeed. These events align perfectly with our commitment to fostering creativity and innovation within the local licensing industry.”

The program will bring together participants and mentors from across the globe, offering a unique platform for knowledge sharing, skill-building, and professional development. Mentors will provide guidance, share industry insights, and inspire participants to unlock their full potential in the licensing profession.

Lisa Sweeney, MD of Licensing International in Australia, expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration: “We’re proud to have Disney’s support in delivering Mentor Mornings. This program is designed to demystify the licensing industry, provide critical opportunities for growth, and pave the way for fresh talent to thrive.
