On Saturday 18 January 2025, the new Oporto at Robina, located at 20 Scottsdale Drive, will be giving away 500 FREE Double Bondi Burgers from 12pm to celebrate the opening of this new store.
Oporto Robina opened its doors in November 2024, and franchisees Geoff and Nicole – a husband-and-wife team who also opened Oporto Southport in 2022 – are excited to extend Oporto’s offering to the people of Robina and surrounds, as well as creating new job opportunities.
The full Oporto menu is available at Oporto Robina, including the popular Bondi Burger – the perfect flavour for summer, the return of the $10.95 Loaded Garlic Rappa for a limited time only (December 2024 to March 2025), and the brand-new Pulled Chicken Loaded Chips, staring from $7.95.
Oporto Robina is the 28th Oporto in Queensland and the 210th Oporto nationally. It will employ 20 to 30 local people in hospitality and supervisor roles.
Geoff and Nicole have over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry all over the world and prior to opening Oporto Southport in 2022 they owned and operated a motel in Childers in the Wide Bay region of Queensland. They moved from Childers to the Gold Coast in 2020 with their two children and fell in love with the Gold Coast lifestyle.
“We thought it would be great to open a business that reflects the Gold Coast’s way of life and really believed Oporto represents this; beach, family, friends and good food,” Geoff said. “We opened Oporto Southport two years ago as a family business, built on a commitment to providing delicious yet quick food, jobs, and opportunities to the local community. We’re thrilled that Southport embraced our Oporto restaurant, and we have really become part of the community – our regulars know us personally, and we and our team know them and their usual order! We are thrilled to start establishing these same relationships in Robina.”
Nicole added: “We are looking forward to becoming part of the Robina community and are extending our passion and commitment through Oporto Robina. We’re also committed to developing our team.”

Oporto Robina’s inaugural launch day was 11 November 2024, and the free burger day on Saturday 18 January 2025 will mark the official celebration of the store’s opening.
