LINYI, China, Jan. 21, 2025 /Xinhua-AsiaNet/--

By the end of 2024, a "viral enamel strawberry cake" captivated the Chinese market, blending traditional Chinese items with Western-style desserts and creating a new trend. Enamelware, once a staple in China in the 1980s, including cups, basins, and kettles, has made a notable resurgence.

Over time, enamel products faded from public view, but the industry persisted, expanding beyond China and gaining renewed value in Africa, Europe, and North America.

In Yinan County, Shandong, towns like Zhuanbu and Qingtuo host many enterprises producing enamelware for export. Linyi Baolifu Enamel Co., Ltd. manufactures spray-painted basins and plates, known for their quality and cultural appeal. These products serve as decorative art in Europe and America and are used as bridal dowries in Africa. In 2024, the company's export sales exceeded 28 million yuan.

Another successful enterprise, Linyi Tenaier Enamel Co., Ltd., has strategically adjusted its production lines to cater to foreign markets. By offering customized solutions tailored to the specific needs of different countries, the company has developed a range of unique and innovative products that have gained strong recognition internationally. In 2024, the company's export production accounted for approximately two-thirds of its total production output.

Today, enamelware, a symbol of Chinese culture and quality, is experiencing a resurgence in overseas markets due to its fine craftsmanship and unique design.
