Swarovski Celebrates the Year of the Snake with a Joyful New Collection

Swarovski 4 mins read

January 2, 2025 - Symbolism reigns as Swarovski marks the Year of the Snake and the start of its 130 Years of Joy celebrations with a new collection that shines with joyful extravagance and savoir-faire. It includes creative interpretations of the House’s signature swan, alongside snake jewellery and a figurine, that set the stage for a year of celebration.

The Swan

The Swarovski swan takes center stage for the House’s 130th anniversary with a new design injection and an exclusive colorway for China. A traditional symbol of eternal love, joy, and beauty, the swan has a timeless silhouette with wings perpetually poised to take flight. 2025 sees the swan paired with its mirror image, with necks intertwined to form a heart.

Mixed materials and contrasting colours bring fresh energy to this classic emblem. The paired swan pendant is a collection highlight: suspended from a warm gold-tone chain, it features one gold-tone and one rhodium-plated swan, both studded with a shimmering Swarovski Zirconia pavé.

At the other end of the spectrum, a chain-link bracelet flows into a string of Swarovski Crystal Pearls, punctuated by a pair of swans embellished with black and white Swarovski Zirconia in round and marquise cuts.

The Snake

Embracing the beauty in the unknown, Swarovski’s tribute to the Year of the Snake offers an abstract take on the most enigmatic character in the Chinese Zodiac.

The snake is a symbol of inspiration, vitality, and rebirth as it sheds its skin and embraces the possibilities of the new. Swarovski channels these traits with a capsule collection that vibrates with kinetic energy. The snake is captured in motion, taking forms that coil, twist, and transfix in the light and spiral around some of the brand’s greatest treasures.

From pendants and bracelets to earrings and a brooch, the collection is a sublime showcase of Swarovski savoir-faire. The standout piece is a gold-tone plated pendant featuring a coiled snake adorned with an array of Swarovski Zirconia and finished with its tail wrapped around a single Swarovski Crystal Pearl.

Gold-tone, rose gold-tone, and rhodium plating all feature across this varied selection while injections of red make an auspicious appearance, popping up on a cord that forms a bracelet with a slender gold-tone chain, and as a dancing stone in Swarovski Zirconia. Each item in the collection is presented in red packaging with golden accents.

The Matrix Bangle Watch

Vibrancy meets precision in the red Matrix Bangle Watch. This Swiss Made timepiece has a rose gold-tone finish and its bezel is surrounded by 20 baguette-cut clear crystals. Around the wrist, the bracelet is adorned with 16 vivid red baguette-cut crystals and is fully adjustable for a comfortable fit. Inspired by Swarovski’s Matrix jewellery family, this striking design is the perfect accompaniment to Year of the Snake celebrations.

Crystalline Ballpoint Pen

Crafted to inspire creativity, this Crystalline ballpoint pen has been created in honour of the Year of the Snake. Filled with approximately 430 red crystals, the gold-tone plated design follows Swarovski’s signature octagon shape for stability and comfort. An extra celebratory flourish comes in the form of a lovable snake charm, adorned with multicoloured crystals.

Home

A playful nod to prosperity, the Swarovski figurine collection is expanding in 2025 to encompass two of the world’s most recognisable symbols of abundance: the God of Wealth and the Lucky Cat.

With 687 precision-cut facets, the God of Wealth figurine is accompanied by an ingot and coins to invite success and wealth into the holder’s home. Multiple colours feature across this figurine while Swarovski’s Golden Shadow effect provides a unifying glow.

The Lucky Cat figurine is a joyful addition to any home décor. Seated on a golden ingot and with its right paw uplifted to invite wealth inside, the cat is crafted from 481 precision-cut facets. Thoughtful details include an enchanting expression, bright red collar, and large fluffy tail.

Continuing this lively interpretation of familiar symbols, the celebratory nature of the Year of the Snake has been captured in crystals. Featuring 398 facets, this green Snake figurine is imbued with irresistible personality thanks to its red metal tongue, champagne gold tone metal bag, and the traditional hulu symbols that adorn its forehead.

A year of joy, inspiration, and reinvention awaits.
